Philadelphia-based filmmaker, composer, and writer Michael O’Reilly uses readily available consumer equipment in creating visions of life, death, and the in-between. His work is a hybrid of experimental, documentary, and narrative forms with tightly fused aural, verbal, and visual elements. Delving into installation, he created United States vs. O’Reilly, an exploration of the personal and the political of the American justice system.
