Interning at the Video Data Bank is a very valuable experience for people interested in the history of video art and for those who wish to gain experience in independent media distribution. Interns undertake a variety of projects depending on their skills and interests and the needs of the Video Data Bank. Recent interns have worked on office administration, the generation of content for the website, organizing the print library, and assisting in preservation.

The Video Data Bank accepts interns on a rolling year-round basis. Interns must commit to a minimum of 14 hours a week, for at least three months. All internships are unpaid.
