The sale of a plot of land marks the kick off of an unlikely road trip in this strange American odyssey. When eteam buys an acre of the Southwestern desert on eBay, the deed fails to arrive and the pair attempt to track down the phantom seller. Children in tow, the artists embark on a noir-inspired search through Colorado, Arizona and the American West to locate the shadowy land-owner and claim their portion of the vast desert.

"Land is an emitter and sucker of information. Places absorb whatever happens to their surface and store this information in various forms. Every landscape is an amazing library. Fascinated, we read, get absorbed and changed. Compelled, we add a thought and then an action. We then step back, observe, fictionalize and share the particular consequences of these interventions. And then we move on. Back to the land."
