VDB at Fall Festivals 2025

VDB is excited to announce numerous artists screening at festivals this fall! 

Crossroads Film Festival will take place August 29 – 31, presented by San Francisco Cinematheque at Gray Area, and feature Kevin Jerome Everson's Boyd v. Denton (2023) and Saif Alsaegh's The Motherfucker's Birthday (2024), as well as Adam Piron's The Early Sun, Red as a Hunter’s Moon (2025) and Black Glass (2024).

The Chicago Underground Film Festival will take place September 26 through October 13, and feature Angelo Madsen's A Body to Live In (2025) on September 20 at 6:30pm CT and September 21 at 1:00pm, and Chi Jang Yin's I Was There Part II (2024) in Shorts 1: Sub Rosa Insurrectio, and Paul Tarragó's Magic with small apparatus (2025) in Shorts 2: Corpus Subterraneum.  

The New York Film Festival will take place September 26 through October 13, and feature Ben Rivers' feature-length Don DeLillo adaptation Mare's Nest (2025) in CURRENTS, Basma al-Sharif's Morning Circle / Morgenkreis (2025) and Kevin Jerome Everson & Claudrena N. Harold's Dooni (2025) in Currents Program 1: Below the Surface,  Camilo Restrepo & Jorge Caballero's 09/05/1982 (2025) in Currents Program 2: Afterimages, New Red Order's Give It Back: Crimes Against Realty (2025) in Currents Program 3: Common Ground, and Sara Magenheimer and Michael Bell-Smith's Acetone Reality (2025) in Currents Program 4: Model Behaviors.
